THE COMMISSIONING OF A CHPS COMPOUND AND LABOR WARD AT WOADZE.
On the 30th of March, 2023, The DCE commissioned a CHPS Compound and a labour ward at Woadze. The project, which started before HE resumed office, consists of a consulting room, a lying-in room, a labour ward, a store, and accommodation for the midwife. The chiefs and people were grateful to government for bringing health care delivery to their doorsteps, even in these challenging times. I reiterated the commitment to attend to the basic needs of the people, in line with the Human Rights Cities Project to ensure habitable communities for all. Officials from the Assembly accompanied me to the inaugural ceremony.
