KAME PROJECT

INITIATING THE PROCESS OF KAME HEALTH CENTER RENOVATION

On the 7th of June 2023, The DCE led a delegation from the Ghana Boundary Commission to the border town of Leklebi Kame, to initiate the process of renovating the Kame Health Center into an ultramodern Health Facility, to serve indigenes and travellers between the Ghana and Togo border.

The project is scheduled to complete within three months. It is in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, and the Economic Community of West Africa States (ECOWAS). The facility is expected to consist of a maternity ward, male and female wards, washrooms, a mechanical borehole, and otehr equipments for health delivery.

This project aims to encourage mutual social interaction between border settlements, in order to promote the broader aim of a unitary West African communities.
