MP UNDERTAKES SURPRISE INSPECTION OF DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS IN AFADZATO SOUTH

On Friday, January 30, 2026, the Member of Parliament for Afadzato South Constituency, Hon. Frank Afriyie, embarked on a surprise inspection of key development projects across the constituency to assess progress and ensure quality delivery.

The inspection tour covered the renovation and expansion of a three-unit classroom block at Have Sadzikofe, the construction of a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound at Tafi Agome, the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) District Office at Ve Golokuati, and the final works on the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) District Office at Golokuati, which is now completed and ready for commissioning.

Hon. Frank Afriyie explained that the visit formed part of his firm commitment to the regular monitoring of constituency projects to ensure value for money, quality execution, and timely delivery for the benefit of the people of Afadzato South.

During the inspection, he expressed sincere appreciation to Professor Nana Ama Browne Klutse, Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Dr. Victor Asare Bampoe, Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), for their dedicated support toward the establishment and steady progress of these critical facilities.

Hon. Afriyie also conveyed profound gratitude to H.E. John Dramani Mahama for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to strengthening decentralised public service delivery across the country.

He reaffirmed his dedication to ensuring continuous oversight of development projects within the constituency, emphasizing that effective monitoring remains key to delivering sustainable development and improved public services for residents of Afadzato South.
